Each one has been a timeless affair rooted in a classic sound but with accents drawn from across all sub genres from Latin to Afro, deep to jazzy. They come after many years spent deep in the scene as a producer, and label head here as well as TINK! Records. This latest EP dials up the heat once more with a quartet of classy cuts that straddle the warm-up and the wind-down. 'Keep Goin' On' opens with heartfelt piano keys before a persuasive groove unfolds with looping vocal fragments that carry a quiet ache beneath the surface. Expertly produced and cuddly-warm, it's a soothing sound that moves you in more ways than one. 'House Is Feeling' is an archetypal house cut with universal messages of freedom that stir the soul as soft trumpets drift in and out and vamping chords offer gentle release. 'Oh Lord' has busier melodies that sound like freeform xylophone jams over punchy analogue drums. Subtle breakdowns build the mood and more perfectly deployed vocal coos ramp up the steaminess for slow burn release. Closer ‘Get Down Piano Jam’ is just that - a minor key hymn with filtered vocals adding a contemporary twist to musical grooves that would melt the coldest of hearts.
